Hair Trends Spring 2013
Ladies spring is coming quickly. Do you know how to style
your hair for this years Spring season? This season is about wearable looks
while still maintaining a bit of creativity. There are new ways to wear the
simple ponytail. Think low and sleeked back when you are thinking about a
ponytail. Also, try the fun and chic new styles of braiding. Wear your braid
like a headband or make a side braid. If you want to get really intricate, make
multiple braids at the front of your hair, pull them towards the back as if you
were going to make a ponytail then, criss cross them. Who said knots were only meant for
ropes? Why not knot you hair into a cute trendy look. Just part it and tie a
knot, very tightly. If you are feeling a little bit more inspired and creative don’t
forget to use the natural hair accessories that can be found in your back yard.
Blossoming flowers are very in and look adorable. Headbands can also help you
make a statement and all you have to do is slip it on. The sleek back look is
in but don’t try making things too neat. Let some hair hang lose. Let it be
casual, it will make a statement this season.

It seems like braids will always be in style no matter the season. In the fall and winter the fishtail was in and that was a simply braid. The ponytail always seems in too. I always feel hair is easier to trend than clothing because most hairstyles never seem to go out of style. And if they do you're less likely to get bashed for wearing an out of date hair do than wearing your grandmother's skirt.
ReplyDeletemmmmm I can't wait till spring comes and my hair will be much longer!!! :-)) I did my BIG Chop last year september 2012 and I'm looking forward to braiding my hair doing an afro adding pretty head bands. It's nice to know that braiding and head bands are the it stuff for spring so I won't be behind the game.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like having your hair neatly done is becoming overrated. I say that because messy buns and hair have been in for a while and I was expecting it fad out as any fad would. It's also crazy because a messy bun does not discriminate on hair types or textures, it can be rocked with them all.
ReplyDeleteThis was a big help. I love simple and easy hairstyles especially during the spring. Adding flair to a ponytail can take it from a simple look to a fun and chic look. I'm really into the high ballerina buns too. Its quick easy and it looks really cute dressed up with a pretty headband or a hair bow.
ReplyDeleteI love the bow head band! I think that is such a cute way to add interest to a simple ponytail or bun. Doing something cool with your hair is a great way to add interest to a plain outfit. Also, these ideas for hairstyles are all fairly simple, so they are great for when you are in a hurry but still want to look polished and put together. I think the most important thing to remember is that hair IS part of your overall look, and should be appropriate to your outfit and activities. For example, a messy bun or elaborate brad (as pictured) is NOT appropriate for a job interview or meeting.
ReplyDeleteThese hair styles are great for those living in today's society. Everyone is constantly on the go and have little time to worry about elaborate outfit, not to mention hair. These hairstyles are simple yet fun and can add some spunk to a drab look. While these looks are fairly casual, with a little rearranging, or simply taking the ideas from them, they can be made to dress up or down depending on the occasion.
