Live, Love, LOFT

For those of you who don't know I have been promoted to Sales Lead at the Loft in Concord Mall. Little did I know that with this new title came so many new responsibilities and extra hours of hard work. I was able to learn new managerial duties such as closing and opening the store, as well as being on conference calls. I transferred over from Christiana Mall and I have to say that the transition was a bit bumpy. I fortunately came over to the Loft at Concord in the busiest season of them all- Holiday. Knowing that I would have to learn many new things fast kept me alert and offered me many new experiences. I was able to work closely with existing customers and even met some new customers that had never shopped  our brand before. They complimented the visuals of the store and the service. Unfortunately, it wasn't all a Jolly good old time. The demand for our products was through the roof. We were servicing customers on the sales floor while also full filling online orders. To top everything off the window displays had to be changed and rearranged several times while the Holiday shipment became available to us. That was one of my favorite parts of working during this season. The Windows were a bit more detailed and intricate. Some of our displays included large ornaments, christmas trees, fake snow, and wrapped boxes. The hours of the store were also extended to give shoppers more time. All in all my first week at the Loft in Concord helped me by exposing me to new experiences.
