During my internship with Dallas part of my job was to help come up with ideas for her blog and ways to rebrand the site. This was very important because her blog is her way to connect with her fans and reach a bigger fan base. With a bigger fan base come more "followers" and more followers mean more opportunities to connect with larger companies. One of the benefits to connecting with larger companies is being able to create giveaways for readers, this kind of marketing also benefits the larger companies because they can connect with a larger audience and it is basically free for them.
