I went to New York with Katherine’s Boutique. The purpose was to do some wholesale shopping for a upcoming fashion show the night be for me and Mrs. Oliver picked out certain styles and items we would like to find and purchase while in New York. This is not the 1st time I went to New York with the team and it is always a fun ride when I’m awake for the road trip entertainment (im not a morning person and car ride to me is like rocking a baby to sleep).
Once in New York we got breakfast then off to the races of shopping… “for the customers”. This time around we was looking for fall gloves with color, scarves, hand bags, clutch and big bold jewelry statement pieces. I enjoyed going to different stores putting in my input and learning more about how to negotiate with the merchandisers because they do try to get over with pricing even though it is wholesale. This shopping trip I felt more like a employee not a intern because my input was taken into account and they trusted my judgment.
